Economic Stimulus Package Provides a Way for You to Bless Others

What would your church or favorite ministry do with a $10 million windfall? Or even “just” $1 million or $1,000? One central New York mainline denomination figured out that if they have about 20,000 men and women worshipping in area churches on Sunday morning who will receive tax rebates in the amount of $500 each, this will mean $10,000,000 will pass through the hands of active members of their churches. WOW!

We would like to encourage every congregation, family, and adult individual receiving rebates to consider how they might bless, promote, or support a ministry with which they are currently involved or would like to become involved. What a tremendous difference you could make in our world by sharing all, half, or even a tenth of your rebate! Consider contacting other families and combining your gift with theirs to create a bigger gift. What if whole churches cooperated and created gifts? From missions to food pantries, from youth groups to literacy programs – so many need your help and could be blessed by even a small amount.

Please consider a gift to Vanderkamp Center as we begin our summer journey. Here are a few items from the Vanderkamp Wish List that you might consider -- there are items in every price range:
